“Our fund is a ‘hand up’ for the individual or family which has been able to secure a job and are ready to move into permanent housing but are struggling to save, the seemingly overwhelming, amount required.”

REALTORS® Care Charitable Fund previously known as “The Homeless Endowment Fund” was established in 1991 by REALTORS® in Snohomish County to assist families and individuals who are in temporary shelters to move into a permanent housing arrangement. This fund, which is the only one of its kind in Snohomish County, has been used by thousands of families and individuals since its inception and is needed more than ever in the current economic environment. Since the fund was created, REALTORS® have provided over well over half a million in assistance to well over 1,000 individuals and families in Snohomish County. Our REALTORS® Care Charitable Fund benefits our partner Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County. Qualifying families and individuals can access the fund with an application by applying for their own home through Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County.

We have been seeing unprecedented homelessness in our area, and 100% of the proceeds of what we raise through our annual charity fundraiser go to help transition people from temporary housing into permanent housing right here in Snohomish County. REALTORS® see firsthand how expensive housing has become to secure. We realize how important it is for the individual who has come from homelessness to be in a position of managing their own home. Be a solution to a local problem by participating in our annual charity golf tournament! Our annual charity event helps sustain the fund and continues our goal to assist those making a positive effort to achieve self-sustained housing a reality.
